Joey “Joe” Robert Beeman Obituary, Frostburg, Maryland: Beloved Father and Community Member Passed Away
The Frostburg, Maryland, community is mourning the death of Joey “Joe” Robert Beeman, 65, who passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. His passing has left family, friends, and loved ones grieving the loss of a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Born on July 19, 1961, in Washington, D.C., Joe was the son of the late Danny and Shirley (Headley) Beeman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Maryland Beeman, and his sister, Lori Beeman.
Joe lived a life centered around family, hard work, and service to his community. He worked as a cook and later served as a custodian at Frostburg United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Aerie #2883 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Cresaptown and was known for his support of Washington football.
He is survived by his children, Sarah Griffin and Chris Adams; stepchildren Lee Cutter, Mark Cutter, and Hope Cutter; brothers Mike Beeman, William Beeman, and Danny Beeman; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Joe’s family and friends will remember him for the relationships he built, the memories they shared, and the role he played in their lives. In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated, and no funeral or memorial services will be held.
