A preliminary investigation indicates that he had been operating the skid loader while preparing for a future construction project on family property when he was ejected from the equipment and became trapped beneath it. Individuals at the scene acted quickly to free him before emergency personnel arrived, but despite extensive lifesaving efforts, Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
