Doug Larson, also known as “Dougo,” is recovering from serious injuries following an ATV accident in Ortonville, Minnesota. Larson was transported for emergency medical treatment after the crash and remains under close observation in the Critical Care Unit at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
According to an update shared by Larson’s family through CaringBridge, he suffered multiple significant injuries in the accident. His injuries include skull fractures, a broken collarbone, several fractured ribs, and a fractured scapula, which is the shoulder blade.
Larson also suffered a lacerated spleen, an injury that doctors are continuing to monitor closely. His medical team remains hopeful that the spleen will heal without requiring additional intervention as he continues receiving treatment and observation.
Despite the seriousness of the injuries, updates from Larson’s loved ones indicate that he has shown signs of progress. Family members, including Chet and others, have remained near him throughout his hospitalization and have shared encouraging updates about his condition.
