Anna Kay Wilson Obituary, Van Buren Arkansas Death: Beloved Mother and Grandmother Has Passed Away

The Van Buren, Arkansas, community is mourning the passing of Anna Kay Wilson, who passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the age of 78. Born in Fort Smith on April 24, 1948, Anna was the daughter of the late William and Peggy (Nelson) Moore.

Family was at the heart of Anna’s life, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Billy Wilson; daughter Wendy Brisco and her husband David; son Vance Wilson and his wife Laura; sisters Linda Wilson and Clara Brinegar; brother Carl Moore; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in passing by her parents and brother, Steven Ray Moore. Her family and friends are now grieving the loss of a woman described as deeply devoted to those she loved and whose family-first spirit made her an important part of their lives.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Ocker Memorial Chapel, followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren. Visitation will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, at Ocker Funeral Home. Heartfelt condolences go to Anna’s husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends.
