Kylee Ovens Bay Roberts NL Obituary, Essence Essentials Salon And Spa Bay Roberts Mourns Loss
Kylee Ovens of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland and Labrador, has died, leaving her family, friends and community mourning the loss of a beloved daughter, cherished sister and dear friend. Her passing has prompted an outpouring of grief and support as those who knew and loved her come together to remember her life and assist her family during an extraordinarily difficult time.
Essence Essentials Salon & Spa Bay Roberts is among those helping lead the community response, organizing a fundraiser to support Kylee’s family with the unexpected expenses associated with making arrangements following her death.
In a message shared by the salon, Kylee was remembered as a “very loved daughter,” a cherished big sister to Ryan, and a dear friend and family member to many. The tribute described her death as a devastating and unexpected loss for those who had the privilege of knowing her.
“Our hearts are broken,” the message stated, reflecting the pain felt by Kylee’s loved ones and the wider community.
The fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12, with community members invited to contribute in several ways. O’Brien’s Pub will collect cash donations on Friday and Saturday evening, with all proceeds going directly to Tammy Boone Ovens and Wayne Ovens to help with the arrangements for their daughter, including her cremation.
Essence Essentials Salon & Spa will also accept monetary donations and e-transfers during Friday and Saturday. Organizers said 100 percent of donations collected through the fundraiser will go directly to Kylee’s family.
The effort is intended to ease some of the financial burden facing Tammy, Wayne and Ryan as they navigate the loss of Kylee. Beyond financial assistance, organizers emphasized that the community’s presence, kindness and support can provide comfort to a family facing an unimaginable loss.
The salon encouraged residents to participate in whatever way they are able, whether by donating, attending the fundraiser or simply sharing information about the effort.
“We would love nothing more than to see our community come together and surround this family with a little extra love, kindness, and support during a time when they need it most,” the organizers wrote.
The fundraiser also reflects the strong community connections surrounding Kylee and her family in Bay Roberts. Friends, neighbors, businesses and members of the local community are being encouraged to stand alongside the Ovens family and remind them that they are not facing their grief alone.
Organizers stressed that every contribution, regardless of size, can make a difference as the family works through the unexpected costs and arrangements following Kylee’s death.
“Every little bit helps,” the tribute stated, thanking everyone who is able to offer assistance in any form.
E-transfer donations can be forwarded to tiffanyelliott03@gmail.com, according to the fundraiser organizers.
As Bay Roberts remembers Kylee Ovens, the community is being called upon not only to help her family financially, but also to surround Tammy, Wayne and Ryan with compassion and support. Through this collective effort, friends and community members hope to honor Kylee’s memory and provide her loved ones with strength during a profoundly painful time.
