With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family, friends, and members of the Williston, South Carolina community are mourning the passing of David Gabriel “Gabe” Sadler, 28, who passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 6, 2026. Though his unexpected passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him, his family finds comfort in the belief that Gabe is now in heaven, healed, at peace, and surrounded by the love and grace of Jesus.
Gabe’s life was a blessing to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was known for his contagious smile, quick sense of humor, and genuine kindness. Those closest to him remember a man who had the ability to bring laughter and joy into any situation, making people feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated. His warmth and positive spirit created memories that will continue to bring comfort to his loved ones.
Born in Augusta, Georgia, Gabe was the beloved son of David Kevin Sadler and Amanda Mundy Sadler. From an early age, he brought happiness to his family and grew into a man admired for his loyalty, compassion, and devotion to the people he cared about most.
Family meant everything to Gabe. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Ashlee Davis Sadler, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Above all, Gabe treasured his role as a father. His daughters, Raelyn Grace Sadler and Harper Elizabeth Sadler, were the center of his world and his greatest joy. He loved spending time with them, creating memories, and watching them grow. The love and guidance he gave his daughters will remain a lasting gift they carry throughout their lives.
Professionally, Gabe worked as a Lab Analyst at Savannah River Site, where he was respected for his dedication, reliability, and positive attitude. He was also a faithful member of Winfield Heights Baptist Church, where his faith played an important role in his life. His relationship with God brought him strength, and his family finds peace knowing that his faith continues to be part of his legacy.
Outside of work and church, Gabe enjoyed the moments that made life meaningful. He loved spending time with family and friends, playing golf, fishing, and sharing laughter with those around him. He had a natural ability to brighten people’s days and never missed an opportunity to make someone smile.
Gabe was also a passionate sports fan, proudly supporting the Atlanta Braves, Green Bay Packers, and South Carolina Gamecocks. His enthusiasm for his favorite teams was something he loved sharing with others. His faithful dog, Cash, was another cherished companion who brought him happiness and comfort.
Gabe leaves behind a legacy of love through his wife, daughters, parents, siblings, extended family, friends, coworkers, and all who were touched by his life. His kindness, faith, humor, and devotion will continue to live on through the memories shared by those who loved him.
Funeral services celebrating Gabe’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Folk Funeral Home Chapel in Williston, South Carolina, with Reverend Jamie Wooten officiating. Burial will follow at Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m., one hour before the service.
Although Gabe’s loved ones grieve the loss of a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, they find comfort in the beautiful memories he leaves behind. His life was a reminder to love deeply, cherish every moment, and find joy in the people who matter most.
