Randal A. Stoltzfus Accident East Earl Township, Obituary, Death- New Holland Community Mourns 19-Year-Old Lost in Tragic Accident
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family, friends, coworkers, and members of the New Holland community are mourning the unexpected passing of Randal A. Stoltzfus, 19, who died following a tragic accident in East Earl Township on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Randal’s sudden passing has left an immeasurable void among those who knew and loved him. Though his life was far too short, he made a lasting impact through his kindness, joyful personality, and genuine compassion for others. Family and friends are remembering him as a young man whose presence brought happiness, encouragement, and warmth to everyone around him.
Born in Honey Brook to Stevie Stoltzfus Jr. and Erma Beiler Stoltzfus, Randal was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend. He shared a close bond with his family and was deeply valued for his caring nature, strong character, and the love he showed toward those closest to him.
Randal worked for King Family Roofing in Honey Brook, where he took pride in his work and demonstrated a strong dedication to everything he did. Outside of his career, he enjoyed staying active and spending time outdoors. He had a passion for sports, including golf and volleyball, and found happiness in simple activities that reflected his personality and work ethic.
One of Randal’s special interests was caring for lawns. He took great pride in mowing grass and creating perfectly maintained patterns, a hobby that reflected his attention to detail, patience, and appreciation for doing things well.
Those who knew Randal describe him as someone who brought light and positivity wherever he went. His friendly nature, genuine smile, and ability to connect with people of all ages made him a cherished member of his community. Whether spending time with family, friends, or coworkers, Randal had a way of making people feel welcomed and appreciated.
Randal leaves behind his loving parents and six siblings: Jennifer R. Miller and husband Lavon of McConnelsville, Ohio; Andrea F. Fisher and husband Eric of Honey Brook; Michael D. Stoltzfus of New Holland; Charlene G. Stoltzfus and husband Matt of Parkesburg; Jessica D. Stoltzfus of New Holland; and Malisa R. Stoltzfus of New Holland. He is also survived by his grandparents, John and Elizabeth Smucker Beiler of Parkesburg, and Stevie and Annie Stoltzfus Stoltzfus of McVeytown.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Wendall L. Stoltzfus, whose memory remains an important part of the family’s history and legacy.
As loved ones prepare to honor Randal’s life, they are choosing to remember the joy he brought rather than only the tragedy of his passing. The laughter, kindness, and memories he created will continue to provide comfort to those who miss him.
A viewing will be held at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM. A funeral service celebrating Randal’s life will take place at Petra Church on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at West Haven Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
