The community of Connersville is mourning the death of Tyler Jason Milloy, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 4, 2026, at his home at the age of 33. Born on January 22, 1993, in California, Tyler was the beloved son of Richard Lee Sturgeon Jr. and Janice Milloy.

Tyler’s life was marked by his unforgettable personality, humor, and genuine kindness. Those who knew him described him as charming, funny, and someone who could turn everyday moments into lasting memories. He had a natural ability to connect with people and was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer laughter, or simply be present for those who needed him.

Beyond his friendships, Tyler was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and family member who cherished spending time with loved ones. He enjoyed kayaking and collecting pennies and coins with his Papaw, but his greatest joy came from being an uncle and creating memories with family and friends. His love for meeting and helping people also shaped his career, where he worked in customer service roles at Walmart, BP Gas Station, and most recently Speedway at 3rd and Central in Connersville.

Tyler’s obituary will be remembered through the love he shared with his parents, Richard L. (Heather Campbell) Sturgeon Jr. and Janice Milloy; siblings Logan Milloy, Hunter (Sharon) Sturgeon, Gage Sturgeon, Mindy (Brenton) Jolliff, Angelica Vail, and Kelsie (Jacob Steele) Jenkins; special little girl Raylynn; nieces and nephews Bentley, Bryleigh, Isabella, and Colt; grandparents Richard L. Sturgeon Sr., Bama, and Nanny; and uncle Jason Milloy. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joyce Sturgeon. Family and friends gathered to honor Tyler’s life with visitation and a celebration of life at Urban Winkler Funeral Home in Connersville, Indiana, on September 10, 2026. His memory and the impact he made on those around him will continue to be treasured.
