Brian “Nashville” Neil Duckworth Obituary: West Virginia Country Musician and Taylor Made Member Dies at Home

The West Virginia country music community is mourning the death of Brian “Nashville” Neil Duckworth, a longtime member of the family country music group Taylor Made. Duckworth died on September 7, 2026, at his home in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He was remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, musician and friend. His cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.

Duckworth became known to country music fans through Taylor Made, the family trio he performed in with his brother Greg Duckworth and sister Wendy Williams. The siblings grew up singing together in West Virginia, where their mother taught them to harmonize. What began as music around the family home eventually developed into professional performances at fairs, festivals and major country music events.

Taylor Made went on to gain recognition beyond West Virginia, recording songs including “Things You Don’t Grow Out Of” and sharing stages with established country artists such as Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels and Miranda Lambert. Duckworth’s nickname, “Nashville,” reflected the important role music played throughout his life. His obituary described him as someone who never missed an opportunity to sing.

Away from music, Duckworth worked as a dump truck driver for Wolfe’s Excavating, where he became known as the “Truck Boss.” He enjoyed working outdoors and also loved hunting and spending time in nature.

Family remained central to Duckworth’s life. He was married to Tina Scheuvront Duckworth, and together they had six children and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings and beloved pets. He was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Keith Duckworth and his father-in-law, Robert “Bob” Lee Scheuvront.

Following his death, loved ones remembered Duckworth for his humble and selfless nature, generosity and ability to make people laugh. His niece, Brianna Duckworth Kazner, also recalled his influence on her songwriting and said she would turn to him for musical advice.

For Taylor Made fans, Duckworth’s passing marks the loss of one of the voices behind a family group built on a lifelong love of music. For his family, however, he was much more than a musician. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend whose presence touched those closest to him.

Funeral services are scheduled for September 14, 2026, with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden. Family and friends are expected to gather to remember a man whose life was defined by music, family, hard work, laughter and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

Brian Duckworth leaves behind more than songs and family harmonies. His legacy lives on through the people he loved, the music he shared and the memories created throughout his life.
